On the night of May 19, 2025, at 8:40 PM, Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) fighters, acting on organizational intelligence, shot and killed Khalid Lashari, son of Mola Bakhsh and resident of Zehri, in the Norgama area of Zehri, Khuzdar.
In statment Major Gwahram Baloch Spokesperson, Balochistan Liberation Front says
It should be noted that the deceased Khalid was affiliated with the death squad led by Shafiq Ahmed Mengal a key proxy of the occupying Pakistani military in Jhalawan. This squad has been actively involved in the enforced disappearances and genocide of Baloch youth in Khuzdar and surrounding areas. In response, BLF fighters executed this operation as per an organizational decision, holding the perpetrator accountable.
The Balochistan Liberation Front accept full responsibility for the killing of Khalid Lashari and issues a clear message to individuals involved in such death squads: if any operative reaches out to BLF’s regional leadership, confesses to their past actions, pledges to sever all ties with the enemy, and provides credible guarantees to uphold this commitment, the BLF will grant them forgiveness and a full opportunity to rehabilitate and return to a normal life. Otherwise, they will be targeted.
