Major Gwahram Baloch Spokesperson, Balochistan Liberation Front says We accept responsibility for the attack on the Pakistani military in Syedabad, Balgatar, the seizure of the Levies checkpoint in Kharan, and the blockade of the CPEC link road.
On May 18, 2025, at around 6 PM, fighters of the Balochistan Liberation Front launched an attack on the Chamgay camp located in Syedabad, Balgatar, using heavy weapons and rocket launchers. The fighters accurately targeted and destroyed the security post of the camp, resulting in the elimination of two enemy personnel and wounding another.
Minutes after the attack, the occupying Pakistani forces raided the nearby Gadgi village, conducted house searches, and blocked roads. However, the BLF fighters safely retreated to their secure locations after the attack.
On May 19, 2025, between 1 PM and 2 PM, BLF fighters set up a blockade on the CPEC link road in Kharan. In the same area, a BLF unit took control of a Levies checkpoint in Butt, confiscating government weapons and other supplies.
The Levies personnel were released without harm.
The Balochistan Liberation Front accepts responsibility for the attacks in Balgatar and Kharan and reaffirms its commitment to intensify its campaign of targeted attacks on scattered Pakistani military camps.
