BYC says in statement Custodial Killing of Anas Baloch: A Clear Act of State Terrorism by Pakistan
Anas Baloch, son of Maulana Barkat, was first forcibly disappeared By Pakistan’s security forces in October 2022 and later released. However, on October 2, 2024, he was abducted again. Today, his bullet-riddled body was found dumped near the Kech River. His only crime: being a Baloch.
From the very beginning, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee has made it clear that the Pakistani state has no mercy for the Baloch people. The state’s military-backed government and intelligence agencies continue to conflate peaceful rights movements with terrorism, labeling forcibly disappeared Baloch as militants. The state is now openly targeting the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, arresting its leadership to silence the Baloch people and suppress their struggle for their fundamental rights—life, dignity, humanity, and justice.
We urge the entire Baloch nation to never allow their voices to be silenced. Speak louder so the world hears our call for justice.
