Atta Ullah Baloch, the brother of Asma Baloch, has shared a latest video expressing his concerns that members of the death squad might forcibly marry his sister or coerce her into recording a statement under duress. He made it clear that the family will not tolerate such actions and will not back down from their rightful and just demand for her safe return.
We strongly condemn this abduction and share the family’s concerns. We fear that Asma Baloch may be subjected to further violence and coercion. We urge immediate action from human rights defenders and international organisations to ensure her safe recovery and to hold the perpetrators accountable.

Meanwhile, the sit-in protest in Khuzdar continues, with Asma’s family and local residents demanding justice. Protesters have blocked the main highway since 4 AM on 6th February 2025, refusing to leave until authorities take action. Despite hours of protest, there has been no response from the government or law enforcement, further exposing the state’s complicity in protecting death squads.
