Three Youths detained by Pakistani forces.
A young man has gone missing after reportedly being detained by Pakistani forces in the Kech district of Balochistan. The individual, identified as Kambar, son of Umeed, was allegedly taken into custody during a raid by law enforcement in the Buleda Bug area of Kech around 1 AM on Wednesday. Since then, his whereabouts and condition remain unknown.
This incident is part of a troubling pattern of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, where such cases are frequently reported. On Wednesday, two more individuals were reportedly detained by Pakistani forces in Kharan, sparking a sit-in protest by their families in the Kharan Red Zone. These individuals, identified as Lakhmir, son of Haji Saleh, and Khudadad, son of Musa, were allegedly taken from the Kharan Bazaar on Wednesday and transferred to an undisclosed location, the families reported.
Recent weeks have seen a rise in reports of enforced disappearances across Balochistan, including cases from Gwadar, Uthal, and Quetta, raising concerns about human rights violations in the region.
