Lawyer Jibran Nasir was picked up in Karachi on Thursday night, his wife Mansha Pasha revealed in a video message on social media.
According to reports, lawyer and rights activist, Jibran Nasir forcibly disappeared allegedly by “unidentified men” in Karachi – his wife Mansha Pasha confirmed the incident in a video released to social media late on Thursday night.
She said that around 15 men in plain clothes with pistols surrounded their vehicle and took forcibly abducted Jibran. She confirmed that the incident occurred when they were returning home after dinner.
Several activists and human rights advocates have expressed strong condemnation over the incident and have launched a social media campaign.
Rabia Mehmood, a journalist and a researcher talking on the incident, also highlighted the enforced disappearance of Baloch women and youths in the city.
