A security check post of the Pakistani forces was attacked in Balochistan’s district Kech by unknown assailants, leading to the death of soldiers. Security officials have confirmed the attack.
The ISPR confirmed the attack in a media statement, saying that unknown persons opened fire at the check post. The forces stationed there retaliated and a gun battle ensued.
The ISPR said the forces had pushed the attack back. However, 34-year-old Sepoy Hasnain Ishtiaq, a resident of Dera Ghazi Khan, and 27-year-old Sepoy Inayatullah, hailing from Jhal Magsi, had been killed.
