Amsterdam: On the occasion of Black Day, against the forced occupation of Balochistan on March 27 the Baloch National Movement held a protest and a rally in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The rally participants held placards and banners against the forced occupation of Balochistan, on which various slogans were written. The demonstration participants raised slogans in favor of the freedom of Balochistan and against the forced occupation. Pamphlets were also distributed to enlighten the locals about the situation in Balochistan.
Addressing the protestors, Nabil Baloch said that today, March 27, the Baloch nation marks Black Day, because 75 years ago, on March 27, 1948, the Pakistani state occupied Balochistan, that’s why Baloch nation declares today as Black Day. Every day after that is a black day for Baloch people and will remain so until Balochistan is freed. In these 75 years, Pakistan’s army tried all tactics of atrocities, martyred our brothers, forcibly disappeared our youth, and did all kinds of violence, and now the Pakistani army has fallen to such an extent that now they are forcefully missing Baloch women and children. Today, the Baloch nation is looking towards the United Nations, which has closed its eyes to the worst violation of human rights in Balochistan and has remained a silent spectator of Pakistan’s oppression of Balochistan. We are all here today to send a message to the Pakistani state that the more you oppress the Balochistan independence movement will intensify.
BNM Netherlands member Jamal Baloch said that the Baloch nation had been a victim of Pakistani military brutality for years, and thousands of people have been forcibly disappeared and martyred. While thousands of mutilated bodies have been thrown. European countries and the United Nations should take notice of the Baloch genocide in Balochistan.
Badria Murad Baloch said that cruelty and brutality are not happening only today in Balochistan, but this cruelty started on the day Pakistan forcibly occupied Balochistan and deprived all human rights. Pakistan’s army is uncivilized and tortures Baloch children, women and elders, the worst form of cruelty to humanity. It is our duty to become an organized and strong force to speed up the struggle against Pakistan.
BNM Netherlands member Islam Murad Baloch said March 27, 1948, was a Black day in Baloch history. On March 27, Pakistan forcibly occupied Balochistan. Since March 27, 1948, thousands of Baloch youths, children, the elderly and women have been martyred and abducted. The United Nations should take action on human rights violations in Balochistan. The Baloch nation should Mark March 27 as Black Day and send a message to the world that Baloch is a nation with its own identity, land and culture. We have not accepted state slavery and will not accept it in the future
