Baloch National Movement UK has organized a protest in London against enforced disappearances of Baloch people by Pakistani security forces including the recent abduction of Maahal Baloch, Rasheeda Baloch, Zaman Baloch, Raheem Zehri, and women and children.
The protest was held in front of the UK prime minister’s house.
Manzoor Baloch, President of the Baloch National Movement UK chapter speaking to the media said that in Pakistan, the oppression of Baloch is increasing with each passing day. Last week Pakistani security forces abducted Raheem Zehri with his wife Rasheeda Zehri. Zaman Baloch was abducted in Kech. Last night, they abducted daughter in law of BNM founding member Hussain Baloch. These are just some recent examples. Every day Pakistani security forces are torturing innocent Baloch women and children. The international community must take immediate action against Pakistan to stop the atrocities in Balochistan.
Dr. Lakhu Luhana of the World Sindhi Congress speaking to the media said that Pakistan is committing genocide of the Baloch people in Balochistan. Since Pakistan occupied Balochistan, has killed thousands of Baloch and abducted thousands of Baloch people.
“The world needs to save Baloch, at this moment of sadness and gloom the Sindhi Nation stands with our Baloch brother nation to tell the world that these are crimes against humility, therefore, it is your duty to save Baloch and Sindi people.
Jasim Baloch member of BNM UK said, today we are gathered here to highlight Pakistani atrocities in Balochistan. Pakistan is indiscriminately abducting and killing innocent women and children in Balochistan. International Human Rights organizations and the international community must make Pakistan accountable.
