Pro Independent Baloch leader Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch said that Pakistan’s envoy Munir Akram’s support to Kashmir’s right to self-determination in the United Nations by all means including armed struggle was another clear proof of Pakistan’s double standards, hypocrisy and duplicity.
He questioned, “On what ground of law and morality, Pakistan advocates armed struggle for Kashmir, while it itself has been occupying the Baloch homeland for 73 years and committing terrorism and war crimes in order to crush ongoing rightful Baloch national liberation movement which fully adheres to international law.”
He added that Pakistan’s stance on every issue was contradictory and against international norms. On one hand, it was occupying half of Kashmir and on the other hand, it was shouting to justify its proxy war against the voluntary annexation of Kashmir.
Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch stated that after the occupation of Balochistan, Pakistan had been using every forum in the world to declare the armed struggle of the Baloch nation for national independence as terrorism. But all such efforts of Pakistan had gone fruitless. He added, to date, the difference between the Baloch struggle for independence and terrorism was clearly visible in the international community as well as in the international media.
Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch said that the Baloch nation had been fighting against the unnatural state of Pakistan for seventy-three years to achieve its national independence. It is perquisites and a national need to take the path of armed struggle against Pakistan. Pakistan is an unnatural and terrorist state devoid of human and national values. If the Baloch nation had not taken the path of armed struggle, then Pakistan would have dragged our soil under our feet and we would have been in even a worse situation on our soil than Red Indians.
Dr. Allah Nazar Baloch said that Pakistan’s envoy to the United Nations Munir Akram has endorsed our position by justifying the armed struggle for national independence following the resolution of the United Nations. Now the United Nations should also help us for the liberation of Balochistan as the path to peace and prosperity in the region and the world passes through an independent Balochistan.
Dr. Allah Nizar Baloch said that the world powers should redraw their long-term policies and work out a clear roadmap for the independence of not only Baloch but also Sindhi and Pakhtun nations. Otherwise, Pakistan’s terrorism, proxy wars and export and import of terrorists would remain continue and peace in the region will be just a dream.
