The spokesperson of Baloch National Movement said that ground and aerial operations of Pakistan Army has been going on for several days in different areas of Bolan and gunship helicopters are continuously shelling. This operation is being further expanded. Most areas of Bolan and Mach are under heavy siege by the Pakistani army and all means of transportation are closed. So far, dozens of people have gone missing by the Pakistani military.
The spokesman said, “Pakistani barbarism is intensified in a wide area. Today, the operation has been expanded in different areas of Bolan including Cheesan, Pod, Mian Kaur, Shahrag and surrounding areas in Mach and Bazgar, Jambro, Talang, Kaman, Jhalawan, Loni and Mejdari.”
The worst operation is currently underway. Dozens of people from these areas have been picked up by the Pakistani army and transferred to an unknown location. Only 15 persons from Shahrag including Babu Sher Muhammad son of Taj Muhammad, Attaullah son of Sher Muhammad, Malik Manzoor Ahmed son of Haji Munir Ahmed, Tayyab Ahmed son of Malik Manzoor Ahmed, Saeed Ahmed son of Nazeed Ahmed, Hafeez-ur-Rehman son of Abdul Rehman, Aziz-ur-Rehman, Abdul Raziq son of Sher Zaman, Noor Mohammad, Sabir Khan son of Ghazi Khan, Ali Mohammad son of Zafar Khan, Khaliq Dad son of Khaira, Manda son of Mohammad Amin, Sher Ahmed son of Kajir Khan, Babu Doda son of Babu Zar Khan have been identified. In addition, Pakistan has set dozens of houses on fire in these areas.
He said that on one hand Pakistan was planting crores of trees under the project called Billion Tree but in Occupied Balochistan Pakistan army was committing atrocities against the Baloch nation as well as barbarism on Baloch soil. After Mashkay and Makkuran, the Pakistani army has also burnt the vast forests of Gharbog Sujawal in Sarawan. This series of atrocities is continue in all regions of Balochistan. Occupying forces are advancing and are burning the forests in other areas as well. Army has caused severe damage to forests and wildlife. The burning of these forests is not only directly affecting Baloch life but also destroying the “ecosystem” and the environment. Though, human rights organizations in Balochistan are silent on human rights violations. Similarly, countries and organizations working for the protection of the environment and global warming, are ignoring this atrocity in Balochistan, it is regrettable.
