Pakistani forces have been conducting large-scale operations in different parts of Balochistan since last month.
According to reports, the military operation is in full swing in Awaran, Gichak, Mushkey and surrounding areas while one person has gone missing after being taken into custody.
Local sources said that Pakistani forces cordoned off Pirandar, Jakro, Allah Bakhsh Bent, Darman Bent, Himal Bazaar, Tulgi Valley, Ghulamu, Kandahar and Bakshi Bazaar areas of Awaran and its environs monday morning.
According to reports, the forces looted houses in different areas during the operation and set them on fire.
Meanwhile, forces have cordoned off Kalan, Tir Kashi, Ragha and other areas in Meshkay while new check posts have been set up at various places.
Pakistani forces have detained several herdsmen and transferred them to an unknown location.
It is believed that the livelihood of the people in the said areas is related to animal husbandry and agriculture. However, the missing Bashir Ahmed is said to be a shopkeeper who has been taken into custody and shifted to an unknown location.
