Four individuals, including a student leader, have reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s Mastung district, according to local sources and student activists.

Waqas Baloch, the zonal organizer of the Baloch Students Organization (Pajjar) in Mastung, was taken into custody along with four others on Saturday night. Their whereabouts remain unknown. The identities of three of the accompanying individuals have not yet been confirmed.

In a statement issued Sunday, the central spokesperson of BSO Pajjar condemned the disappearance of Waqas Baloch, calling it a “gross violation of human rights and student liberties.”

“Waqas Baloch is a conscious, active, and peaceful student leader,” the group said. “He has consistently raised student issues, promoted learning, and led efforts to defend students’ rights.”

The organization described itself as an “ideological, democratic, and peaceful” movement committed to non-violent, constitutional struggle. “Our struggle is equipped with the tools of reason, dialogue, and awareness—not violence or disorder,” the statement added.
